MULTILOG 7.03

MULTILOG is a specialized Item Response Theory (IRT) program for analyzing items with more than two response categories. Developed by Scientific Software International, Inc., it calibrates items and scores respondents under polytomous IRT models—most notably Samejima’s graded response model for ordered categories and Bock’s nominal response model for unordered categories. Using marginal maximum likelihood estimation with EM procedures, MULTILOG delivers stable parameter estimates, standard errors, and comprehensive output suitable for research and operational testing.
